In this blog we are going to discuss about algebraic expressions.
Algebra: -It is a branch of arithmetic where issues are solved with the use of equations.
Algebra expressions is the process of expressing or writing an equation that may be several types of Equations in Algebra like Linear equation, Equations containing radicals, Quadratic equations, Equations involving Fractions, Exponential equations, Logarithmic equations etc…
To write an Algebra equation or Algebra expressions they use various: -
Operations: -
Parenthesis: -
1) Addition
2) Subtraction
3) Multiplication
4) Division
Factors: - The number is called factor when it is multiplied or divided.
1) ( ) first bracket
2) { } second bracket
3) [ ] third bracket
Terms: -The number is called term when it is added or subtracted.
Powers & Exponents: -When a number is multiplied by itself they get the power as the number of time it multiplies the same is the Powers & Exponents. Example: - b x b i.e. b squared, b x b x b i.e. b cubed. The square & cube are called the exponents.
Variable: - x, y, z are usually used as a variable in algebra, variables are those whose values always change. Algebra expressions can be of
1) One variable
2) Two variable
3) Three variable
